I just found out we have to go to Iowa on the 20th, so my thought of doing back-to-back races (Peat Monster and Peoria) just went out the window

hey jeff we got the 60 done and put back together and now have ran into a huge problem with theu bolts and plates.with the pinion angle that we have the plates want to lay flat and with the two studs going with the angle they are put into a bind and causing the nuts not to fasten down on plates.basicaly the ubolts are pointing a little forward and the plate holes are straight up and down. so its not looking to promising and our beat up 44 has broken parts.so not sure what we are going to do

Hey Jeff,we have came up with a few ideas but none that seem to promising ,we can cut the drivers side perch and relocate to work but its the passengers side that is gonna be the issue,do to the perch being on the diff its self ,and with the pinion angle that we have to run for the driveshaft to work isn't allowing the u-bolt and plate kit for the dana 60 to set right due to the two studs, witch when the u bolts are tightened down it leaves a gap at the plates to where the nuts are not setting tight on plates, the studs point with angle of diff and plates set flat on springs,we thought about adding a small style pinion wedge ontop of springs to to get u bolt plates to go with the angle of diff, but we are afraid it will spit them out and cause alot of damage,so right now we are make-shifting our dana 44 over and trying to get it back together and in,just need a set of drive flanges for a dana 44,so anyone that has a set they want to give up,please call(309)224-8589

As this may sound like a silly question, but is this bog open to the public? We are looking for something to do for fathers day, but also keep the kids entertained. If someone could inform me, if we are allowed to come and watch all you all play in the mud, and is there an admission fee?

Hey Rodney,(a.k.a NUTZY),WOW now thats a good running truck,i think we will see that truck in the open class before we know it running the times we do,a damn good running smallblock,as far as the help sat in morrison it was our honor to be able to help such a great guy and fellow racer, so anytime. And for the sunday race in peoria we would like to apologize to everyone for not being able to run part of the show,we obviously hurt more than we expected and didn't notice till then, with us having no rest ,being up since friday a.m all the way to sunday really put it to us,we were working on things before the morrison race and were up all night to make it there and when we did we made one good pass and blew the rearend up and was up all night saturday fixing and got done at 8:00 a.m sunday, now for sunday we are glad now we decided not to run, when we noticed there was no oil pressure we knew something was odd,and didn't want to take any chances,so taking the motor apart right now,all i can say right now is there is something in pan.Marty we were glad you and a few others we able to get things done and back together to be able to make it to peoria.Like i was saying,we are totally sorry for not running part of the show, but i think everyone knows we made a good move and put it back on the trailer, for those who ran GOOD JOB, and hope that we get it back together, thanks for those who helped tow our truck back to the trailer
