Thanks for the aerial photo Jeff, gives a good perspective.
Like I said earlier, trees will be removed. We are retrenching any power or water lines near the track to accommodate the event too. So really we have 400ft of usable, safe space. Pit area is the whole area east of the track, and we do have more parking for semi trailers in the hayfield to the south. Entry into pits will be in the north east corner off Rt. 30.

What's everyone's thoughts on a diesel truck class in the drags? Something a street stock but allow the basic mods (programmer, lift pump, intake, single turbo, mild suspension lift).
We have alot of local guys that work the windmills or city kids with too much money with diesel trucks. Some of them will pull their trucks but the rest don't have the balls and are afraid of breaking something, I think a drag will give them a chance at braggin' rights without risk of breaking their truck in half.

Well I've already got some of the windmill guys to give it thought, if we can get enough advertising going around locally I think we would have plenty of black smoke.

Yeah that's gonna hurt us a little but it is what it is hopefully we can get more drag guys for the drags and local trucks for the bog.

we don't want to really pull trucks away from peat monster we are in his area so we would like to see trucks come after his race since we are running later never want to step on other clubs toes we will just have to see what happens should be a good race

What time are you planning on starting? What time is tech. Gussies won't be done till say 6 if he starts on time, and about an hour drive.
Any idea on payouts yet. See if it is worth the swing by on the way home if I could have a chance at making it in time. Minimum entries? Can I run stock class if I run in reverse?
We are not a club and you are not stepping on anyone's toes. I am sure there will be plenty of local farm boys to go through the pit. ;D

Right now we are looking at a 6:00pm start time. Pits will be open around 2 or 3 I can't remember off the top of my head.
I say yeah run stock class in reverse we will need a good sideshow act to keep the crowd entertained. But you can't do a "Backwards Bob" monster truck thing and put the body on backwards, that would be cheating.

If we miss tech time will there be an exception? Or if you are late, to bad?
Never been late so I don't know. My truck will be the same as last year, except the fact it will be covered in a fesh coat of peatmonster mud.

If you call one of us and let us know you are running late I have no problem looking at the truck late as long as your class hasn't started

We are going to try to accommodate the best we can to guys trying to make both events. Might mean we run drags first then save the bogs for the very last.

Did alot of work out on the track this last weekend got trees cut down near the start line going to get the stumps out this week. Trenched power lines 4ft down near the end of the track so those won't be an issue any more. Found out its mostly clay under clay so the bog pit will be chiseled about a foot deep. Right now looks like I'll have 10K gallon of water available in tanker trucks and a couple thousand on tanker trucks to run back and forth from a nearby irrigation well.
Track is 80ft wide with concrete blocks on each side. Leaves room for two 25ft drag lanes, 3ft in between them, and a 20ft wide bog pit, and a little wiggle room to spare.
Flyers are passed around in the area but still need to get the word out so any help would be appreciated.

Im going to go to copy shop and see what they charge for alot of fliers so i can start flooding the ares we talked about also i have had alot of talk about the diesel class just wanted to know if we were going to have it i dont see what it would hurt the more classes the better i think
