We were at a race this last weekend in MO I got to talk to a large group of racers that run a Index style class, our timing system is the same as they use. They start the class with 2 Dial in passes to set there Dial in. They take the fastest of the passes and drop the tents like say there fast pass is a 3.74 drop the 4 there Dial in is a 3.70 when Dial in times are set our club sets the brakes fastest against the slowest and paring to the middle. It will be ran in a double elem style from there, slow racer will receive a handicap start. Example fast racer is a 3.20 slow is a 3.70 the slower racer will leave .5 sec sooner. This style race had 20 racers in the class . Its a very competitive class. I can see where we could run 2 classes at a later date. This race the trucks will have to turn a 3.9 or better to get in it will be 200 foot track. I have sponser money of 200 to add to the class and I talking to the club about adding at least 100 on top of the entry's. I'm sure you all have questions please attend the meeting this weekend to get your answers.

We are adding a 3.9 or faster index double elem class to our Oct 16th race in Peoria IL Entry fee will be $45.00 With 10 truck entry and the added money it will pay 4 places 1st= $300 2nd =$210, 3rd=$140, 4th = $70 Last weekend at the Tri county race in MO they hade near 20 entrys in the class At 20 entrys it will pay 4 places - $440 $330 $220 $110 Racers will have to turn a 3.9 or faster (200 foot track) to get into the class the cut off is to avoid large delays at the start line If we have enough racers with a slower than a 3.9 (dial in) we will have a second lower class (entry fee only) We will have our normal classes drags and bogs also (entry fee only) There is camping on sat race on sunday races start at 12 noon tec ends at 11:30
We will dile the cars in by a pass in each lane taking there fast pass to set there dial in They will pare off after that and run a doudle elem race paying down 4 places We have $300 at this time to add to the class and are looking for more.Sam Posts: 21 Joined: Sun Jul 11, 2010 9:28 pm Private message
