Just wondering why you decided not to have any special class payout for the CLASS 800 Drag - Open Class ? Or maybe the payouts listed in the officer's corner posting should have been class 800 Drag & class 700 Drag, rather than the class 700 Drag & class 600 drag that it says on that posting. overlanders4x4.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=officerscorner&action=display&thread=1695
Here's what your advertised payouts were for last year at the HOI Fair : www.heartofillinoisfair.com/PDF%20Files/2011MUDFLYER%20copy.pdf
I see that you added extra payout money to class 400 bogs, which is nice, but I just don't understand why the blower buggies (Class 800 Drags - open class) were left out this year ?
Also, requiring 10 entries per class for these payouts, how many times has that ever happened ? What will the payouts be if there are less than 10 entries in a class - the regular old payouts based on entry fees per class only ? ***You did only require 5 entries in the class for class 500 bogs last year to payout the advertised amounts.
The same is true for your race at the Lee County Fair in Amboy, IL, no $$$ for the Blower Buggies to show up overlanders4x4.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=officerscorner&action=display&thread=1696
In my novice spectator opinion, the Open Drag Class 800 (Blower Buggies, etc) & the upper Bog Classes are the crowd pleasers.

Glad to hear from you steve, The reason for not having a big payout in class 800 is the number of entrys in that class are down, last year i think we had 4 blower trucks. The clubs thoughts were to put more in the 700 class hoping to pull more of the outlaw trucks back, they also put on a good show, so that is are reasons for the HOI Fair race and we have always had 10 truck min. in the higher classes.
The LEE County fair race there is limited shut down area and we were afraid there was not enough area for the blower cars to shut down in. i like you enjoy watching the blowers trucks i hope this helps steve, trying to change things around alittle.
