hey guys looking for a steel 429 truck crank anyone got one they will part with? hopin maybe Sam would have one? hurt mine saturday on a test past getting ready for peoria's race Dexter

ive got a few early ones. i got a p.i. motor id prolly let the crank go. i think i got one on the shelf to. let me look. what crank pilot do you need for your converter?

they are actual steel cranks?? or cast?

they are cast. supposedly the cobra jet stuff has a better iron content. the boss 9 had a steel crank.unless your running this thing 8500rpm the stock crank is going to be your best bang for the buck. my original race truck was a stock crank i spun it 7grr. i walked caps. spun a rod bearing. never had a crank go bad.

hey guys thanks for the offers but my machinist found one will be back together by this weekend. and the old grain trucks and stuff had steel cranks. and 8500 is exactly what this motor sees was a litle hight then that tho when it spun the bearing...lol
