For those of us that use GPS - Is there an exact Street address to the fair grounds, and for those of use that are not using GPS can we get directions posted, It will save many phone calls.
And I think for every race posted any where on the Internet and any race flyer there should be Address posted I have spent may a mile, wasted time and gas over the last 28 years looking for races

Thanks, Arlene All racers check extra directions at the bottom of this post.All RACERS use the east entrance into the fairgrounds right off Rt.30. Do not use the entrance at Franklin Rd. The east entrance is 1000 ft. east of Franklin Rd. and Rt.30. All SPECTATORS turn onto Franklin Rd. and go through the main gate.

Those directions and address are correct. There will be signage for which entrance to use and also IDOT signs for caution.
Takes roughly a hour and half with a trailer to get there from Galesburg.

Well I'm officially out of the running Bronco must have stripped out the cam gear for distributor. Put a new dizzy in, looked down the hole and cam gear still turns, but still cant get the dizzy to turn...

I take back my previous statement, got it fired and did some holeshots in the yard yesterday. For some reason its eatin' up distributor roll pins. Maybe oil pump is on its way out? Gotta button it up and its ready to go.
Sam that deal is almost worth it!
Thursday night pulls went very well track is working up good. We had probably 40 pickup truck entries and over 60 tractor entries. Pull started about 6:20pm got over around midnight. I took home a 3rd and 4th in 8000# class. Didn't fare so well in 4750# class I usually place in the money but luck wasn't on my side for that class. Good crowd for Thursday night despite the little bit of rain we did get.
More pulls Friday night Illini State Pullers big diesel smoker modified tractors, mod diesel trucks, and modified gas trucks. I'm going to nap all day and work on the track all night hopefully we will have water on it by 1 or 2 in the AM. More water going to hit the track by Saturday morning and last shot of water by 3:00pm if its needed.

Ford have a real prob with the roll pin, Drill it out bigger and put a bigger pin over a small pin this will give you a much stronger pin. Cheby don't have enough York to break there pins LOL . I found this prob the hard way on the line Jambo 1990 revved it up at the start line it snapped died in front of 1000 people lucky to have a good pit crew we pulled a diz from another truck and made a pass. I have also drilled a additional pin above the stock one and I have used machine stock solid pins any way you do it it will help prevent the pin from breaking.

Well I have tryed for 1 week to get on MRA web page to bring our race back to the top of the list and once again MY account is not working, So if any of you have a log in on the MRA site can you please go to race listings and up date our race to get it back on top
