does anyone have any input on what they would like to see change for 2013? How about some things people like and don't want to see gone ? We have a rules meeting every year and the club votes on what gets put in that year but i would like to know what the racers think about how we run our races and how you like the rules . I don't need to turn this post into a bash fest i just feel that the guys racing should have input on what the rules are going to be and how we are going to race next year. how about a consistency class? or ET class?

All and all i think your rules are pretty good. I don't know about everybody else but we like to be able to run at least 2 class when we go racing. I feel the jump between class 300 and 400 is to big. Which is ok we will just move down and run 200 and 300. We love to sxs race but with rule changes every year that makes us have to build new motors or spend 1000s every year we will just go bogging where the rules hardly ever change. I would like to see the rules stay the same for 3or4 years what ever the rules are. I know some guys like the entry fee's high so they can try to get some of there money back . I would like to see them lowered a bit to see if we could get more trucks jumping from class to class. The bigger the class is the more fun it is. I think we need to get back to the old days where everybody went racing and had fun win or lose.

The no v8 in jeep needs to go since there are factory jeeps with a factory 360 in it lol

I know a couple bog trucks that aren't coming and and several drag trucks due to the rules that were made last year. I don't know of one new truck that was built to attend the Overlanders new rules last year. The Overlanders are the only one's with some certain tire and carb and cu in restrictions. Either open the classes back up or keep the small truck numbers that you had. Also I know of several trucks that raced that didn't fit into your new rules but raced in the lower classes anyway! Open your rules up or we and others will just race at other tracks with national style rules next year! The other tracks are only just a little farther away than Peoria so it's not a big deal to go race somewhere else and skip the Overlanders races. You guys decide more trucks or less trucks??

here are some good rules for class 200- stock no big blocks in short wheel base trucks great rule need to have no more than 3in exhaust must be stock style muffler
stalls need to be checked this is a must for stock -200 truck must be licensed and have insurance card in truck. towing stock trucks in is ok cuz some people travel hours to get there tire size limit in stock should be no bigger than 36 in must be dot approved must pull vacume after class is over great rule for stock -200 keeps the class low budget oh all break and head lights must work........ no shifters the cubic in rule is great

nope there mus not be enough interest for the overlanders followers or for the club members to make any posts back here.looks like we aint going up there with our trucks again this year either

if you allow aluminum intake and headers then it is no longer stock you are aloud one or the other already and only 34 inch tires a lot of guys put lift kits and big tires and change nothing else and drive them to work everyday

or add a class call it production stock make the people drive it in and no boggers or swmpers aloud.. maybe u would get more people and leave the stock class alone cuz the rules for stock really arnt that bad they are great if u as me my truck is withen them so i shouldnt complain now should i...

and the production class should be all stock the way the truck left the factory.... and driven in it would be the biggest class out there. mouse mugular used to have a class like that in armington and it had like 15 to 30 trucks and then some of the guys jumped up and ran the stock class which the way the stock rules are now are great just change the exhaust rule in stoc class 200 to no bigger than 3 in i was just throwing it out there to help people out who dont have a budget to go get a good cast iron intake.... u cant keep a place going if u make the rules to fit all of your buddys out there
all in all the stock class rules are great right now need to stay the same and add a new production stock class

I agree with the 3 in exhaust in class 200 i would like to see that 2 1/2 change to 3in. Also i don't under stand the 2in vacuum variance if tech crew approves what does that mean ? Can we run 15in @ 800 rpm or not? Also how about letting us run multiple carbs in class 500.

the vacume rule is dumb but if u have stock exhaust manifolds and a stock intake u can pull 15 in of vacume i dont think anyone uses it but i could be wrong.. they have been leting me run my 3 in exhaust but mine is all stock with an upgrade muffler but it came from the factory the way it is i dont have duels tho so that may make a difrence and they had told me as long as its not 3 in right off the header which mine has the stock head pipes going into my 3 in but im able to run for those reasons

i say leave stock rules the same just change the exhaust rule and add a new class that the people could run in forget all my rules above there is really no reason to change them and a rule for class 400 that should be dif allow alm heads in the class would be great
