With all this snow coming I was wondering if there was any interest in having snow drags. I was thinking of a get together with stock to lightly modified trucks just to keep it fun. maybe 4wheelsers and snow mobiles too. A couple club members and I are working out the details out now. So if you have any questions about what you can bring out please reply to this post to show interest or call or text. Rolland Adkisson 309-221-3438 Justin Ackman 309-335-9945
Seems you guys got what you wanted you run everyone that wasn't a club member off as I have been a fan watching your guys races in Peoria since they started there I even thought about building a truck but after the last couple years I've noticed a lot of the fast trucks don't show up anymore it seems it's just club members but hey at least club members are winning

Don't have to worry about the cold for not having snow drags with the lack of interest that's what it is. I through the idea out there to get stock every day trucks out there to just bring everyone together for a day but that failed big time. I've even tried to get another trip to the cliffs insane terrain for the 22nd going also but no interest there either so I'm guessing that will be a no go also. Oh well all I can say is I tried.
"Just a fan" yes that's us! We always liked putting on a show and making a few friends in the process. We no longer race as we have been whooped by the local club building rules faster than we can build trucks. No big deal, we had a blast while we did it and would do it all over again! We had some of the best times of our lives racing in 5 midwestern states against some toughest of competition. We won National Indy titles two years back to back which is a feat in itself. We sure hope the local club can turn things around and honestly try to promote the sport rather than advancing their personal agendas. I'm sure they will regroup. I'm sure they will return the playday attendance numbers. I remember we had to over 30 trucks on most playdays with 75 being our biggest.... back in the day. I'm also sure they will return the race numbers back to their previous counts, as we all hope they will. Maroon Jockstrap I take issue with your yellow truck not fast statement!! I formally correct you sir, our truck's official color was "pail mustard!" LOL you guys were always the best!
I would but have nothing to play in. My play truck is living on 6 of 8 cylinders and has 400 k plus miles on it. On top of that it a 4 speed manual. You guys would be crossing the line and I would still be trying to hit second gear. This summer i hope to have it all fixed up for some play time.
Mcq glad to see your still alive. When will be the daybue of the bomb II? The sport misses you.
HeyAaron. Always had a good time with you and your. crew. I miss a lot of peoplein the sport and your one of them. Like i said, i cant build trucks faster than they can make rules so we will stick to chasing big fish on the river and leave the mud racing to the GOOD,THE BAD AND THE UGLY! Lol
