AXCELL I agree 100 percent. Overlanders are very good at building fast trucks. Some others are just a little, will shall I say  .. If they look at the other areas of the website there is a very clear protest procedure that can be used at any race for any class.. |

Hey brad are U the MUD racer out of MO with the Pro Studebaker?
I have been on the MRA site and see that they are getting about as far with the NMRO as I had expected.
They were looking for better rules or inforcement of rules in class 3 (our class 6) and the MNRO changed class 2 (our class 5) go figure??? so there is a bigger gap between the Nat (NMRO classes) but we all keep going back and donating our money.
I have been invited to TN ( by instagator) to the Rules meeting but I not sure I will have the time to make it, it will be interesting to see what they come up with for classes.

EXACTLY ANYONE WHO I HOPE CAN READ CAN BUILD A TRUCK TO FIT THE RULES. IF THEY DONT READ THE RULES AHEAD OF TIME AND THEY GET BEAT MAYBE NEXT TIME THEY WILL READ THE RULES. I GO TO OTHER PLACES TO RACE AND I LIKE EVERYONE SHOULD GET THAT CLUBS RULES AND TRY TO GET MY TRUCK READY FOR THAT RACE FOR THE CLASS I WANT TO RACE. IT DONT ALWAYS WORK OUT. I GET BEAT JUST LIKE THE REST OF US AND I DONT CRY. ;D ;D

yeah thats me sam i got the old studebaker that james w drives and i put on the races over here around this area the rror, events . im not sure its the rules they have written axcell its the rules they go ny that has everybody worked up. the nmro doesnt really make a difference to me we havent ran one yet . but if the acociation can help us smaller groups im all for it. nmro is what wed like to race but just havent had time to make our old junker run right the last couple years weve been getting slower instead of faster  . brad |

Brad it would be great to see all tracks go by the same set of rules- it comes to interpretation of the rules and enforcement- one tec crews opinion of a rule is different then the next tec crew. Our rules for the most part are the same as the NMRO (DRAG only) with a few added class-
Take the class 3 NMRO rule of the stock transfer case, they allow chain drives this is a rule we will look at for our track. We want our upper classes to be the same as the NMRO but it is getting harder each year to do that. ON the other hand we do not want the guys that run with us to be held back and not be as competitive as they can if they do go race the NMRO races.

SAM, IM ALL FOR KEEPING RULES AS CLOSE AS POSSIBE,I BELIEVE AS CLOSE AS WE ARE ITS IMPORTANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY, WE ENJOY RACING WITH THE OVERLANDERS AND APPRECIATE YOU COMING TO RACE WITH US, "E" ;D. I WOULD HATE TO RE-INVENT THE WHEEL TO MUCH, I BELIEVE OUR CLASSES ARE CLOSE,BUT IF AN ORGANIZATION WOULD COME IN AND MAKE US CHANGE A TON OF STUFF OUR RACERS MAY BALK ON THAT,I FEEL MOST OF OUR RACERS WILL TRAVEL IN A 250 MILE RADIUS BUT THAT IS IT.  THANT IS MY 2 CENTS WORTH ! |

I would like to see our club rules be close to other area clubs also not really to worried about what the nmro is up to theres only about two races they have that would effect some of us. I just hope people will keep in mind that when our rules meeting comes up in January that their changes are for safety and to make the classes more fair. Keep in mind these changes should benefit the club and other racers not just the club trucks. Just my 2 cents worth. |

Agreed the lower class drawl from the local area and most of them do not want to change from year to year but the upper classes are where we need to try and keep progressing and keep close to the same. These classes are the ones that have to drawl racers from all over the States. Not many Super stock our class 5, Pro stock our class 6 or above in Galesburg Area.
