If you remember we added the aluminum head 3 years ago to the class that seemed to hurt the class so we add the old class back more or less

If we base getting rid of a class on least amount of entry's at any one race we will have to delete all classes with exception of may be class 300

You tell me how the red truck does not fit the rules and what would keep it out of 300? ?? Do not forget the 300 class guys like the 400 class and there are a bunch of them in the club O and by the way the Jeep fit class 400 3 years ago I have always had a truck for the Iron headed classes I did not make the rules the entire club voted on them The truck was built in the winter after the rules were in place

You tell me how the red truck does not fit the rules and what would keep it out of 300? ?? I'm not a rules reader but now that you bring it up I think the rules say......... no aftermarket blocks ... If I'm not mistaken a SVO block is from the ford aftermarket go ahead tell me I'm wrong.. ;D The rules also say in class 5 that the wheelbase must match the body being used , in class 3 it doesn't say so that means you go up in the rules until it do say right?? Thats what you always told me in that case the red truck looks a little shorter than a short bed ford but than again the jeep looks a little longer than a regular jeep OHHH.. I get it you are averaging the two together that must be how it works.

No you are wrong the block in the red truck is a ford part not an aftermarket block it is produced by ford
And the wheel base for the red truck is stock ford short bed
and the Jeep the wheels do match the body it does not say the wheel base must be the same measurement as stock I dont think any of us will fit that kinda rule we are all off due to some amount of were lift etc

Again do I need to post the entry's from every race we had to see which class had the smallest entry's? YA.. SQAM.. would ya? ;D from all the records that I have and I mean all (my wife keeps great notes) we didn't Even have a class 4 one time and one other time the only reason we did is because that red truck didn't enter so almost the whole class 3 entered class 4 so they could race again

yes your ford block does have a ford part number that does not mean that it was a production block and if it was not a production block that means it was a ford produced aftermarket block Your wrong SQAM!!!! If I need to explain more I will but I can't believe a man that has been at it this long could be so ignorant So your jeep is a class 6 truck than I guess I knew that

Were we talking about class 3 or class 4 ? let me help ya. We were talking about class 3 and if you could read you would see that it says NO AFTERMARKET blocks or did you forget we were talking about class 3 If ya did , I forgive ya... again not trying to be a smart azz just stating facts and not trying to pull the wool over anybodies eye's. Just because it has a ford part # doesn't mean that it is not the ford aftermarket ;D

If it has a factory part # it gona be hard to say its not factory. Back at you Silly So in your opinion, if the part in question was not out of a car/truck/van that once ran on the road it is not allowed who's gona be able to tec that for any make of truck Cheby/ DOdge/ Ford/ Toyota I know thats not what the club had in mind when the rules were done If it says GM/ Chevy/ Ford/ dodge it is allowed

I was only making a suggestion, thought it was a big jump between classes. May be there should be a cubic inch limit along with a vac limit I don't know if this would help any or not? I have only raced one time down there and got spanked in the drags and did OK in the bogs with a small block pulling 15 lbs vac in a full size truck . With a 650 double pumper which I don't think a double pumper that small makes a difference over a 750 vac secondaries. With open headers, boggers. I think all clubs with in 120 mile radius or what ever magic number should try to make rules a little closer to each other but we don't live in a perfect world. Thanks for listening.
