Question for Matt and Tech folks

I was going through the class 200 bog rules, and the class 300 drag rules, on the main site it says" Engine, Body and Drive train must be same make " So does that mean, and im just asking,that My chevy body with chevy engine and chevy drivetrain qualifies? Not that i can make it to compete this year, though my wife and I are planning on attending Sunday and meeting those of you there, I was just curious so i can make my winter improvements ;D

Hey thunder,

Our rules do state that , but we do not allow body swaps until class 500 drag and 300 bog . I understand that its a full body elcamino, but what is to stop somebody from throwing a lightwieght chevette body on top of a blazer frame and running that. Its more a matter of weight than anything.

Again like I said our rules meetings are held at the beginning of the year and your more than welcome to come and try to submit a new rule if you want, but you have to be a paying club member to vote on any rule changes.

I bet you get alot of looks riding down the street in your elcy .

Omg im almost afraid to go out cause people seriously rubberneck lol well new motor this winter anyways and when the new year comes up we will due up and see what happens lol I was gonna drive it to Avon but nooooo the wife likes her a/c and comfortable explorer =)
