Thank you for your interest in our rules of racing. Please allow at least one week for me to get them typed and formatted to put on our message board.

you have to take your valve covers off for a cid pump right? I believe that to get an accurate reading you have to pull all the plugs and remove the rockers on the cylinder being tested. There is also a chart and a thermometer to adjust for cylinder temps. Later Jenks

yes you have to pull a spark plug and loosen both rockers to check the cubic inch but it will be a protest procedure only the protester will pay $100 to protest a motor and if we pump the motor and its good then the owner of that truck will get the $100

I understand if you dont want to for that reason but like I said its only if someone in your class protests your truck and it will be at the end of the race we are not trying to upset anyone we are just trying a new idea on rules for the smaller class trucks I just wish I could build a fast truck f or that class and stay within the rules so I could make that extra 100 at the end of every race ;D

I feel that the rule will only help even the classes and bring more trucks to the races because there is a limit on the size you can build a motor circle track cars have had rules like this forever and still have good turnouts someone had to start that rule for them I think we will see more of this at races in the next few years and Jeff I know you will disagree with me and have already in a roundabout way called me a few names but I think this is a fair way of doing things and that is what we are trying to do is be fair if need be I will take blame on this rule I know everyone will be happy with it but i think the majority of racers will understand

Yep it is going to help the class out.....club members. So you might as well make it a club members only class. What is the cubic inch limit for class 3? Let's make it a 480 inch class and watch me walk away with it. Because all it's going to do is limit outside trucks from racing with any other clubs with that rule. oh yea you still got joe nichols that runs a bad ass small cid motor so did we really solve anything with this rule?

Dex don't worry about racing there because we are not. Unless they have a pressure washer,a building to put your truck in and some body to readjust are values. I'm not going to pull a value cover off in the dirt for a 100 dollars one piece of dirt in the motor what is that 100 dollars going to replace nothing make it 500 dollars and maybe. You know that they will protest us every time for a 100 dollars. Besides the 500 cid rule is a chevy rule so the chevy guys can still run stroker motors make it 480 cid. We will just race at gussies and else were.

sorry Dex if you wont race with us this year it is always good to see you guys i hope you do well this season wherever you end up running i understand if you don't like the rules it is just needed to help the sport some mite disagree but it is only one class above stock class it seems more than fair to me that 500 ci is the rule but once again good luck and hopefully i will see you guys at a track this year

Justin,
Its not the 500 cid rule we only run a 468. Its pump one pump them all and not in the dirt. The 500 cid rule helps us . come to my house and i will pull my heads and oil pan and you can check my motor out but not out side in the dirt.

i understand and it would be after all racing is over if need be i would spend my own $$$ to buy a enclosed tent if it will make racers happier not trying to run people off
