your wrong john because i never ran 300 i ran 400 and actually my wife ran 400 and i bogged because you wouldnt let her run powder puff so how would i have been able to raise my hand dont question ones integrity unless you know what your talking about john. bring that 514 on im not scared of it ive never been scared to race any one its for fun. and i would surely never vote anyone out. and heres a deal john heres my phone number 815 488 2529 call me we will set a time up you can come to my garage where its clean and check my motor out its on a stand bring your mic's your gonna eat your words its 468 cubic inches. and i am more then happy to let you do all the looking you want! ill even pay your gas. hey jeff when you come to my house and got bearing from me why couldnt you use my rod bearings do you remember? seriously john come up for a friendly visit i have nothing to hide

I will take you up on your offer but if somebody puts the money up. You will be checked again I am not in charge of this rule and hate it has much as you do hope you realize this do not need gas money but if it makes you happy I will come. Cant do it by myself need a witness but i will bring club members to witness first time. That is the best I can do wish I could make you happier John.

do you see where im coming from tho john?? my motor is not worth 100 dollars if a bunch of dirt went down in the motor and ruined it im done it would be years before i could build another one. and it sucks i loved peoria its close to home and its drag racing but i see the writing is in stone im gonn ahave to find somewhere else to race. you dont need to spend your time running 3hrs to look at a motor i just dont appreciate being called a liar i have no reason to lie and if i had as big of a motor as you guys think i do i would have no problem bumping up but come on man its a 468 with dove heads its not a classs 400 motor regaurdless

i didnt mean you personally john i ment the club wouldnt let her race because it was a 400 truck and the funny part is it wouldnt run with in a truck length of jeffs daughter in mikeys truck

Im not calling you a liar never have and not affraid of your tuck either and the fit your throwing with jeff makes me assume other and havent made my mind up cant understand post if you meet the rules. I watch you run the club down witch I'm apart of and have been half my life and call us all cheaters and cry babies an dont appericate this and say what you want to me and I prove on the track what I say. So if you hate the Overlanders that bad come race prove us wrong.

so someone can protest my truck and i lose my entry fees and all the gas money for nothing because im not pulling my valves covers off and have to readjust my valves at the track because i will admit it takes me a long time to adjust them? and i have won the last four classes i have run there. and you and jeff are the only ones that have even run close to me the last 3 classes ive run i havent even dropped a pass

I just wish you would remember were this club comes from not for profit by law thought we were all friends. When somebody gets the upper hand you try and find the next step. Now before you ran the club in the ground witch you have been apart for many years please try to remember why!!!!!!! Non for profit to help less fortunate people than our selves witch by the way when is the last time we donated money. you have the resources to win. When you come back I'm sure you will 90% of the people on this website do not wanna post because they are affraid you will come down on them like you have the club. Seriously this is a communication site please stop the negative inputs John Bloomgren hopefully your friend.

i only run one race this last year because i freshened my motor up i got booted out of class 300 because of my carb and one 400 think it was the first race of the year

to start this off i post the faces because i cant believe how far this has gone the rule is posted what are we accomplishing here ? now getting that outa the way i would like to say i will take the blame for everything cuz it doesn't hurt my feelings to get dumped on i will say that i did step back feeling it was only fair that i not bring up any ideas on a new rule in my class other than the carb rule witch i asked that the carb rule be thrown out i just bought a 1000 cfm aed like 2 weeks before the meeting so that didn't help me i had 2 trucks in mind when i threw that out there guess witch 2? i knew it was a rule that the trucks did not like and it was a fair change in my mind i did not have something up my sleeve in any way anyone that knows me should know I'm fair so if i am being called a cheat or that i made rules to help me then the people that have said that on here i am a fair person and feel i need to prove myself if you need to be shown how fair then if you the person accusing me if you race this year in class 4 i will race you and be outclassed just to prove I'm no cheat or double crosser i will not race class 300 when and if you are there just so i don't get talked down to or look like i make rules for myself i have a 30 over 454 stock crank open chambered heads 580 dome pistons stock gears in a 84 blazer plz clarify am i a cheater or do i make rules to get my truck to win

I believe there was nothing wrong with 300 and thought some changes to 200 would be real cool like small blocks with intake and headers also stock 466 in short bed ;D ;D

I never said I would not vote the rule in I still think it would be better to have a class in between and I didn't do it to vote one truck out think the rule is fair and as for the club voting just to get u out not true there was a club member that voted himself out of that class because he believed the rule is a fair one I'm out classed racing you and arguing with you cuz you are great at both but I'm done with the argument and i stand behind my rule as a fair rule not as a vote a fast truck out rule I love watching fast trucks but hate hearing people argue I'm out of this as always my offer to help with trucks still stands but I'm sick of people bashing others

Dex I'm sorry u will never get me or any one else to believe that taking a valve cover off is so detrimental to a engine. If some one runs us and dumps dirt down your valve train then you might have a problem and we would have a good fight on our hands when you whip there A$$. If by chance you get dust or a piece of dirt in to this area it will go to the pan and get filtered out. Many forms of racing have this rule and it works fine. It is much more dangerous to remove a carb as it is a straight shot to the inside of the cylinders. Again if you want into this class and you know you will be tested we will test you before the race and give you plenty of time to re adj your valves.
I have seen Papery boy remove the complete lower end and put back together at Morrison and at Indy in the open outside his trailer.
O and the MRA which is undeniably the leader in the mud drag world and in the Idea of same rules everywhere they allow MOST Aluminum heads in SS class I have seen aluminum heads in class 2 at the nats many times and my class 3 is called Super stock at indy

ok thak you sam thats all weve been after is to have it pumped before everything was dirty but the other races need to decide if i need pumped before i race not after theyve seen it run if they dont believe me they can bring there 100 dollars bills and the pump over to my truck and i will pull a valve cover off before it leaves the trailer. this could work out good for me i will win more money off the cid of my motor then i will racing.
ps just a question are you gonna let me make a pass somewhere before the race starts to make sure i have everything set right?
